It's hard to understand what's happening at the Tijuana border. Statistics and news reports are confusing, misleading, and easy to disregard and tune out.
Sharon Franklin has spent a lot of the last three years working with asylum seekers at the border in Tijuana. Her partner Javier has been there on the ground helping every day for the past three years. Sharon will update us, not with statistics, but with stories and photos that make these families come alive. Hopefully, that will fuel our desire and commitment to help one family in particular, one that will make a generational difference in the lives of this mom and her two children.
