In this upcoming workshop, we will learn to let go of the idea that life is over at a certain age. This will be a 90 minute workshop (there will be 30 minute connection time). We are so excited to welcome, and learn from Julia Hubbel. We look forward to seeing you there!

Julia Hubbel, "the hapless (but not helpless) horizon huntress."

Julia began her worldwide passion to take on sports in the world’s greatest places in earnest at sixty. A prizewinning journalist and author of two books, Julia thrives on exploring the boundaries of the heart, soul and spirit and humor.

-"Awesome advice. Speaker was also super inspirational." quote from a workshop attendee.

This workshop is a FUN(D)RAISER for the Center! Recommended love offering is $20-$30

Facilitator Bio:

Aventure athlete, prize-winning author and journalist Julia Hubbel is one funny force of nature. Known for audacious solo travel experiences, Julia started her adventure athletic career at sixty. Her hair-raising and hilarious tales about how adventure travel transforms lives both engage and inspire her audiences around the world.

Dedicated to her vision of Moving People’s Lives, Julia’s lighthearted and spicy Too Old For This Sh*t community focuses on how to suck the marrow out of life no matter your age or background.

Organizations love Julia because she delivers terrific content, powerful speeches and actionable takeaways which engage and delight the most dominate group of adventure travelers: women over forty.

Julia’s career spans decades working with the Fortune 100 while tirelessly working to support women in business. She launched her new career in 2013 with a successful summit of Kilimanjaro. More than a decade later, she is a skilled horsewoman, competent skydiver, hiker, cyclist, hiker, kayaker and much more.

She provides the living example of aging vibrantly. As a decorated Army veteran and bodybuilder for more than fifty years, Julia’s regimens have saved her life on multiple occasions. Her parachutes have failed twice. While diving the Sardine Run off the coast of South Africa, her scuba gear failed while she was surrounded by hammerhead sharks.

Julia’s wicked sense of humor and her delight in the absurd are hallmarks of her work. A popular presenter, she offers a mix of practical takeaways along with inspirational stories.

Today, Julia helps responsible travel outfitters connect with their best markets. She offers a rare combination of corporate background, sales expertise and years of adventure travel.

Julia’s committed to seeing her clients succeed, and inspiring her over-forty audiences leap into their finest moments screaming “We’re Too Old to be Told We’re Too Old!”
